Who We Are

Sadhana Charitable Foundation is a community-focused nonprofit organization working to uplift the socio-economic and educational status of marginalized tribal and indigenous communities in Mizoram, with a special focus on underserved border tribal communities.

We work at the grassroots level to reduce barriers to quality education, sustainable income, cultural preservation, and access to justice—with equity, dignity, and inclusion at the center of everything we do.

Our Vision & Mission

A just and equitable society where marginalized communities live with dignity, opportunity, and the power to shape their futures.

We support underserved tribal and indigenous communities by:

  • Improving access to education

  • Strengthening sustainable livelihoods

  • Preserving traditional knowledge and culture

  • Providing legal aid and enhance capacity of community youths.

Our Story

Many of us at Team SCF were born and spent our early years in some of Mizoram’s most remote border villages. By chance and circumstance, we later found our way to towns and cities in search of education and livelihoods — opportunities that were simply not available back home. Having lived these realities, we carry a deep understanding of the challenges faced by tribal communities in the remote border regions of Northeast India. Scattered across sparsely populated hamlets and rugged, mountainous terrain, these areas often struggle with limited access to quality education, healthcare, basic infrastructure .

From these lived experiences emerged a shared sense of responsibility. That became our calling and Sadhana Charitable Foundation (SCF) was born.

This is not just our story. It is a story of hope, dignity, and possibility — unfolding slowly, one village at a time, one dream after another. With your continued support and guidance, we hope to carry this story forward — and make it whole.

We hope you will walk alongside us on this journey.
